Located at booth number 918, during the show the company will exhibit some of the latest products from its Opal series of dedicated narrow web machines.
The Opal OLT offline glueless turret rewinder will be running live demonstrations throughout the show. The machine is configured at a web width of 17” (430mm) and features an integrated unwind. The machine is equipped with our AKSS system for automatic positioning of the slitting blades. The rewind section is a 4 spindle automatic turret with our patented glueless cut and transfer system. A range of different rewind core sizes are available on the glueless OLT along with label closure systems. The machine will also feature an automatic core loading system.
The Opal glueless turret rewinder is also available as a dedicated inline unit (ILT) for those wanting to configure the machine inline with a printing press or other web handling system.
As the machine is a total non stop operation is makes the finishing of labels quick and simple, giving maximum productivity.
Also on display will be the Opal ISR inspection slitter rewinder. The Opal ISR has been designed with ergonomics in mind to give full inspection across the material width and will stop any faults detected prior to being slit and rewound. This way our customers can ensure fault free finished rolls are being supplied to the end user.
The machine on display will be 17” wide (430mm) and includes our AKSS system for automatic blade setting along with duplex (two) rewinding shafts.
Along with the above machines the company will also present the other machines within the Opal series, such a full converting lines, label inspection slitter rewinders and semi automatic turret rewinding machines.
ASHE also manufactures a range of machinery for wide web applications. The company will be presenting the complete range of applications for digital printing of flexible packaging, slitter rewinders for flexible packaging up to 80” wide and slitter rewinders for labelstock / pressure sensitive applications, which are available up to 80” wide.
